Samuel Calto
Discord Moderator, At-Large Board Member

Samuel Calto is a lifelong appreciator of VGM. An arranger and multi-instrumentalist raised in NY, he is the Lead Discord Moderator and an At-Large Board Member of Press Start Orchestra. Samuel was trained on classical piano and completed a B.A. in Music (Composition focus) at UC San Diego, where he also acted as music director and later co-president of The Intermission Orchestra at UC San Diego, arranging video game repertoire. Now based in NYC, Samuel can be found performing across the local VGM scene across genres, playing EWI at VGM Jam Sessions NYC and singing bass at PSO’s sibling organization, NYC Otaku Choir. He is fond of the Super Mario Galaxy and Pokémon games, among many, many others.
