Back in June 2019, we started Press Start Orchestra with a passion for bringing the worlds of gamers and classical music lovers together through captivating classical and gaming scores.

Launched our first Composer Competition and received 15 stellar submissions

Awarded our first grant from the New York City Artist Corps through New York Foundation for the Arts

Performed our first hybrid event, Knight Shade, to a sold-out crowd at The Triad Theater and broadcast worldwide via Twitch

Employed 20 local musicians in New York City

Became an established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
