
Jacob Tantleff,
Head Orchestrator

Composer Jacob Tantleff was raised in Los Angeles and currently resides in New York City. After his debut at David Geffen Hall, he has forged a unique style and strong artistic presence as an award-winning classical composer in the United States and Europe, with performances at Lincoln Center, The Ailey Studios, Juilliard, and more. Recent premieres include Adventure Quartet, premiered by members of the BAAM Orchestra in Berlin, and The Long Forever, performed by a string orchestra at the Manhattan School of Music.
Jacob has worked extensively with some of New York’s greatest performers and ensembles, including Justin Hines, Marc Mommaas, Will Healy, Kyo-Shin-Arts, the Cassatt String Quartet, Beata Moon, Jennifer Choi, Keve Wilson, and many more. He currently studies at the Manhattan School of Music under J. Mark Stambaugh and Reiko Fueting. Upcoming premieres include FLOOD, a rock opera, and Ozymandias, a piece for chamber choir.
